Ziost is an ancient world made up entirely of an ancient dark forest. Not only was it the focal point of the Dark Side but it is also rumored to be the planet where Lord Sidious allegedly first appeared. It was the heart of the Old Sith empire, after the failures of Naga Sadow during The Great Hyperspace War. Its destination has been forgotten in recent times, due to the secrecy of the newer Sith Lords. Many ancient and evil secrets remain in this place of great dark power.

Originally settled by the Mining Guild as part of a wave of expansion in the Teraab Sector, Ruusan was once a temperate, pleasant world, inhabited by Ruusanians, humans, and a strange sapient species known as Bouncers. It was one of the Old Republic's best sources of lightsaber crystals, and its loss forced the Jedi Order to rely on blue and green crystals from Ilum. During the New Sith Wars between the Jedi Army of Light and the Sith Brotherhood of Darkness under Lord Kaan, a 'thought bomb' was set off and it annihalated everyone on the planet, who's spirits settled in an equilibrium called the 'Valley of the Jedi"

Dorvalla was a lommite mining world, located in the Videnda Sector, controlled by Dorvalla Mining and initially independent of the Republic. Normally a temperate world, the mining operations turned Dorvalla into a world covered with lommite dust. From space, Dorvalla seemed to have a thick band of perpetual clouds. In the rainy season, the dust turned to thick mud, making surface travel nearly impossible.

Kamino is a mostly oceanic planet, very similar to Mon Calamari. Kamino is home to the Native Kaminoians who are fairly tall and slender with long necks.

Nar Shaddaa was the largest moon of Nal Hutta. More commonly known as the Smuggler's Moon and Little Coruscant, Nar Shaddaa was similar to Coruscant in that its surface was entirely overgrown with city sprawl since 24,500 BBY.

Corellia is dominated by rolling hills, thick deciduous forests, lush corn-yellow fields, golden sun-set beaches, and large seas. With most of the famed manufacturing centers in orbit, the planet largely remains rural and undeveloped. Urban blight is virtually non-existent, and most Corellians live in small towns or farming communes. The largest cities are the capital Coronet, the touristy Kor Vella, and in the mountains, Doaba Guerfel and Bela Vistal. Corellia is also home to the Corellian Engineering Corporation, one of the larger shipbuilding firms in the Star Wars galaxy.

Muunilinst was a lush world of forests, plains, and tall, jagged mountain peaks.Muunilinst,nicknamed Moneylend, was the temperate, mineral-rich Muun homeworld and the headquarters of the InterGalactic Banking Clan. It was a member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Muunilinst was no more loyal to the Empire than it was to the Republic or Confederacy, but found that no matter the outcome of the Galactic Civil War, the victor would be forced to keep doing business with the Muuns and the IGBC.

Dathomir is the planet on which Yoda's Jedi Academy ship, the Chu'unthor, crashed. The planet is covered in lush swamps and small trees. It is inhabited by wild rancors, as well as by Force-sensitive "witches" who are descendants of a Jedi Knight banished to the planet.

Taungs under the leadership of Mandalore the First settled the planet prior to 7,000 BBY. They drove the native mythosaurs to extinction, using their skeletons to construct cities of bone. The planet was named after the great leader. The Taungs thereafterwards called themselves Mandalorians. The Mandalorians traveled from Mandalore and conquered many worlds. After failing to conquer Onderon, they briefly settled on its moon Dxun.

Tatooine rests in the distant Outer Rim, beyond the reaches of Republic and Imperial law. Even the Trade Federation lacked a presence on the desert planet. Poor, with very little industry to boast, Tatooine is a mixture of hard-working locals attempting to extract a living from the unforgiving environment and transients visiting the world for illegal ventures. Tatooine is controlled by the Hutts, and their shady operations bring many spacers, bounty hunters, thieves and other malcontents to the planet's few port cities

Polis Massa was once an arid, barren planetoid and the origin of a colony of resulting asteroids. It was originally the homeworld of the little-known Eellayin civilization, who dwelt in underground cities such as Wiyentaah, but the world was fractured by a mysterious cataclysm. This natural disaster formed a field of asteroids which remained known as Polis Massa, especially the largest of them. The Eellayin civilization disappeared.

Myrkr was a largely forested world, located fairly close to the galaxy's major population centres. home to the ysalamiri, creatures which created bubbles which pushed back the Force. This ability evolved to protect them from pack animals called vornskrs, the only known animals to hunt exclusively by sensing the Force. Force Adepts beware

The forest moon of Endor, also known as Sanctuary Moon, is a moon which is home to the Ewoks and above which the second Death Star was constructed in Return of the Jedi.

One of three planets in the Japreal system, Onderon has a temperate climate, and was once home to a primitive race of humanoids. Like many other fringe worlds, the Onderonians have a distrust of aliens.It has four moons. Dxun, the primary moon, once orbited very close to the planet, allowing some of the same atmosphere to be shared between the planet and its moon.

Despite being temperate, habitable, and appearing safe at the first sight, the jungles of Dxun posed major challenge for everyone struggling to survive there. Due to its constant rains and wet climate, mechanisms did not last long and required continuous maintenance. Moreover, the jungles were inhabited by many dangerous predators, such as cannoks, bomas, maalraas, and zakkegs, which required the moon's inhabitants to always walk through them armed.

Coruscant was the capital of the Old Republic, the Galactic Empire, the New Republic, the Galactic Alliance, and the Yuuzhan Vong Empire. It is generally agreed that Coruscant is the most important world in the Star Wars galaxy, evidenced by the fact that its hyperspace coordinates are (0,0,0). The planet is essentially one giant city, with skyscrapers jutting several kilometers into the atmosphere.

A dangerous, yet lush world, Ragoon 6 was the location of a Jedi training site. The vicious malia beasts roamed the forests and mountains of the planet; they were perfect game for Jedi trainees.

Hoth is a snow and ice covered world in a distant sector. It was used as a base by the Reble Alliance, but they were forced to retreat due to an Emperial attack. Its only know species are the wampas and tauntauns.

Telos has become a popular destination for intergalactic tourists. About twelve years before the Battle of Naboo, the former Padawan Xanatos turned the planet upside down in his pursuit for personal power. Only the intervention of Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi thwarted Xanatos' plans, and helped return the planet to its rightful government. Telos is home to the native Ithorians, who are widley recognized throughout the Star Wars galaxy as the authority on planet restoration.
